Valentine's Day, is it really important? We are used to giving flowers, letters and chocolates every February 14, because it is the date of "love and friendship" but why only show love and gratitude that day? Why not every day? love is supposed to be shown daily not just once a year. https://cdn.skim.gs/image/upload/v1456338491/msi/valentine-s-day-card-chocolate-horiz_msihe7.jpg It does not matter if it is a flower or a letter with  an  "I love you", it is the small details that count and are appreciated, we do not have to have a specific date to let the other person know that it is important in our life, it is something That should be done day by day, February 14 is nothing more than an excuse, a commercial day where the real beneficiaries are the owners of the flower shops, motels, restaurants, etc. Let's stop waiting for a date to give love, we must give it every day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTRum_fcdnk Soruces:  - h...

A PRIEST, THE PRECURSOR OF THE LEGEND   Valentine  owes all the symbolism of his date (which is almost a worldwide celebration) to a legend: the act of rebellion of a Christian priest back in the third century after Christ. Of that one, the then emperor prohibited that the young people could contract marriage since it considered that the single men were better soldiers. Faced with what he considered an injustice, the then priest Valentin began to perform marriages behind the law. The trail of the future spouses and cause to raise suspicions among the Roman soldiers were the small cluters of while flowers that the brides secretly tried to hide behind each link. Something that cost him to be imprisoned and later martyred on February 14. Reason why, since then, this day of the year is destined to his name.
